Muhammad (PyB)

The Messenger of Allah

The Messenger is Muhammad bin Abdillah bin Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim, and Hashim of the tribe of Quraish, Quraish of Arabs and Arabs are descendants of Ishmael son of Abraham, with them two be peace.

He lived sixty-three years of which forty were before the prophecy began, and twenty-three after he was appointed Prophet and Messenger. The revelation began with the phrase of the Koran: "¡Read!",and his mission as Messenger to reveal himself "Oh, you [Muhammad] that you wrap yourself in the cloak! Get up and warn [the men]. Proclaim the greatness of your Lord. Purify your clothes. Get away from idolatry. And do not give [to men] to make a profit for it. Be patient [before the persecutions of the idolaters] with faith in your Lord." (74:1-7).

He kept exhorting monotheism for ten years, after this period the Ascension took place in the heavens and the five prayers were prescribed as obligatory; in Mecca he prayed for three years and was then ordered to emigrate to Medina.

When it was established in Medina, the revelations of the obligatory precepts began, such as the Zakat, the Fast, the Pilgrimage, the call to prayer, ordering good and forbidding evil, etc. This stage lasted ten years, then died (P and B), but his religion lasted.

Islam confirms and indicates everything that is beneficial and prevents everything harmful. The beneficial thing is the Tauhid and everything that Allah loves and is pleased; evil is idolatry and everything that displeases Allah. Islam was revealed to all mankind, so everyone should obey him, geniuses and humans. The Messenger of Allah Muhammad (P and B) was the last of the Prophetic cycle. "Say: O men, I am certainly the Messenger of Allah for all of you." (7:158).And so Allah completed the revelation of His religion:"Today I have perfected your religion, I have completed My grace on you and I have arranged that Islam be your religion." (5:3)

The testimony that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (P & B) also implies not believing that he has any divinity or power over creation, not even the right to be worshiped. The Prophet (was a servant and Messenger, should not be worshiped, nor denied, could not benefit or prevent misfortunes for himself or for anyone.

Jesus, the son of Mary (SA), re-enlivened the arrival of Muhammad after him and called him Ahmad, who is one of the names of Prophet Muhammad (P & B).

It says in the Holy Quran:"And when Jesus, son of Mary, said: O children of Israel, I am the Messenger of Allah, sent to you to corroborate the Torah and announce a Messenger who will come after me named Ahmad [This was one of the names of Prophet Muhammad] But when they were presented with the evidences, they said: This is pure magic! " (61:6)
